So the other day a friend of ours who has a three year old sent us a screenshot of a show on the Disney Channel that his daughter likes to watch.
It's called Doc McStuffins.
Did you say Disney Channel?
I know it's been a few years since my kids watched morning television on the Disney Channel, but holy crap they've really changed their programming and I am just not sure that sounds like an appropriate sho...
A little girl? Who fixes toys? With the help of her stuffed animals?
I was imagining something completely different.
Tells you what I watch.
Kidding. I'm kidding.
But it got me thinking.
And with a little help from Husband (he's frighteningly good at things like this), I give you a list of children's television shows (past and present) that are more than a little bit questionable.
And if your kid watches Doc McStuffins, I bet you won't ever think of it the same way again.
Oh, one more little housekeeping item ~
I've been nominated for the Circle of Moms Top 25 funny mom bloggers!
Okay, I totally nominated myself, but like I always say, you gotta love yourself more than anyone else, right? Plus, being the new girl on the block is still a bit of an uphill climb, and I'm doing my best to introduce myself around the room.
Despite the fact that one blogger has gotten over 1400 votes in less than 24 hours (she's hilarious though, and deserves every one of them), my goal is to break 100 and get in the Top 64.
But if you ever DO laugh at this blog, I'd appreciate your vote!
And if you vote every day until February 13, guess who will be my favorite?
(This handy little button will be parked over there on the right - under the archives - for the next 3 weeks to make it easy for you.
Just click, find the Appletini, and VOTE once every 24 hours thankyouverymuch.)
I appreciate every single one of your lovely faces!
(This one is totally different. But still cool.)
